Glidecoat RPL (Repellent Protective Layer) is an outstanding final finishing oil repellent top coating for boats, RVs and cars that are having problems with persistent exhaust soot or other carbon-based airborne pollutants that appear based on location. This product provides a repellent protective layer (RPL) that is highly oleophobic (resistant to oil). With RPL as a top coat, any black lines or stains that still appear will be much easier to clean using only soapy water and a light washcloth. RPL provides the ultimate protection against staining, black streaks and more due to its design. Created to enhance the self cleaning surface.
Glidecoat RPL does not protect the surface from UV damage or oxidization, therefore we recommend applying at least 2 coats of Glidecoat Shine And Shield – 16oz prior to applying RPL.
